ISS는 어디 있을까? [2009년 1월 1일~15일]

한국의 첫번 째 우주인이 국제우주정거장(이하 ISS)에 머무는 동안,
ISS가 한반도 위를 자나가면서 ISS를 언제, 어떻게 볼 수 있는가에 대해 많이들 궁금해 했다.
ISS는 고도 220마일의 궤도에서 90분마다 지구를 한 바퀴 돈다.
따라서 시간과 위치만 잘 알고 있다면 ISS를 찾는 것도 어려운 일은 아니다.
다만 보이는 시간이 보통 5분 내외로 극히 짧다는 어려움은 있다.

그래서 앞으로 우리나라(특히 서울; 위도 37.33, 경도 126.59)에서
ISS를 볼 수 있는 날짜와 시간, 간단한 그림을 싣는다.

Time은 가장 잘 보이는 시간과 ISS의 궤도 그림을,
Appears는 ISS가 출현하는 시간과 밝기, 위치를,
Culmination은 가장 잘 보이는 시간과 정보를,
Disappears는 ISS가 사라지는 시간과 밝기, 위치를 나타낸다.
